I build products and businesses around constraints other people misread. I'm writing about what happens when AI collapses execution costs and judgment becomes the bottleneck.
AWS Unified Operations
I run product and P&L for Unified Operations, the premium service for AWS's largest enterprise customers: financial institutions, airlines, live event infrastructure, emergency services, and other organizations where infrastructure failure has real-world consequences.
I bring people and AI together to help the largest customers with the most stringent needs solve the most complicated compute and infrastructure problems.
Amazon Kids
I founded the Kids and Family business at Amazon. It started as a COPPA compliance mandate and became a subscription business serving millions of families across four device platforms and five countries, where every family is its own irreducible context and where the failure modes are human rather than commercial.
That same environment later became one of Amazon's first generative AI products for children, where model behavior, moderation, age-appropriateness, and parental trust had to be designed as one system.
Earlier
I joined Amazon when it sold books. Since then I have worked across self-service tools, e-commerce systems, wine, grocery, subscriptions, kids' products, voice, generative AI, and enterprise services.
The through-line is building in ambiguous spaces where the product, customer, business model, and operating model all have to be discovered together.
